First 5k

Hi all, it's Kris with an update...

We made it, 5k... (That's distance, not money)

Jess and myself just finished our first run together.

Seal beach is a pretty nice place, and the weather was even better.

Jess still didn't beat me, even though she has been running for a while, but hey, what can I say:)

She posted an awesome time of xx:xx (disclosed), but that's not accounting the stampede of people that we had to shuffle our way through for the first mile down the narrow roads. There were over 5,000 people participating.

It feels good to get out and run. I kinda had a poor attitude about getting up on a saturday at 6am to go run, but it was well worth it and I'm glad my beautiful wife dragged me out of bed.

Oh yeah, one last thing, she made me breakfast in bed.
yeah, I'm a lucky guy...
